Every operation starts before shipment.

NCM (Brazil's tariff code), the taxes that apply, administrative treatment and any licences from approving agencies. This is where the real cost of the operation shows up, and where an expensive mistake can be avoided.

Ocean, air or road: the mode that fits your timeline.

We quote ocean, air and road and show you the difference in time and total cost for your cargo.

Air: transit in days, not weeks.

When the deadline drives the decision: urgent restocking, samples, critical parts or high-value cargo.

From customs to your dock, with a CT-e.

The leg that closes the operation: from the bonded facility to your dock, plus Mercosur routes.

Inside every process, documents checked.

What to have at hand

Four pieces of information: the technical description of the goods, the origin or destination, the estimated volume or weight and the date the cargo needs to be available. Invoice, packing list and technical catalog come later, once the operation is defined.

We also handle: Radar (registration with the Receita Federal) · NCM (tariff classification) · Special regimes · Machinery

How we work

Five steps, and you know where the cargo is.

  1. Assessment

We look at the product, the volume, the origin and the date it needs to be available. Before quoting any freight, we know what the operation requires.

  2. Classification

NCM (Brazil's tariff code), the taxes that apply, administrative treatment and any licences from approving agencies. This is where the real cost of the operation shows up, and where an expensive mistake can be avoided.

  3. Booking

Quotes compared across modes, the Incoterm defined, insurance arranged and the booking closed with the agent or the shipping line.

  4. Shipment and transit

Document check, issue and review of the B/L or AWB, transit tracking and notice as soon as we identify any change in route or schedule.

  5. Clearance and delivery

Declaration filing, channel follow-up, answers to customs requirements, cargo release and delivery to your address with a CT-e (Brazil's road transport document).

Frequently asked questions

What companies usually ask before their first operation.

General answers to guide the conversation. We confirm how the rules apply to your specific case before any operation.

Our company has never imported. Where do we start?

With the Radar registration, the company's accreditation with the Receita Federal (the Brazilian tax authority) to operate in foreign trade. In parallel, we can already work on the tariff classification of the product and the freight quote, so the registration does not hold up the first purchase.

How do I start exporting?

With the cargo details: the technical description of the goods, the destination, the estimated volume or weight and the date the cargo will be ready. With these we quote the freight and handle the export from the document check to the export confirmation (averbação), which closes the operation. The invoice and packing list come later, once the operation is defined.

Do you serve companies outside Rio Grande do Sul?

Yes. We are based in Erechim, but we serve companies in Santa Catarina, Paraná, São Paulo and other states, with clearance at the ports, airports and bonded facilities that match the cargo's route.

Do you have a licensed customs broker?

Yes. Zenith has a licensed customs broker who represents your company before Brazilian Customs at every stage of the clearance.

What do I need to send to request a quote?

Four pieces of information: the technical description of the goods, the origin or destination, the estimated volume or weight and the date the cargo needs to be available. Invoice, packing list and technical catalog come later, once the operation is defined.

How long does it take to release a shipment?

It depends on the channel the declaration is assigned to, on the facility and on any requirements raised. The green channel releases the cargo right after filing, the yellow channel requires a document check, and the red channel adds a physical inspection. What shortens the time is arriving with checked documents and a consistent classification. There is no way to promise a fixed timeframe.

How is the service charged?

Our advisory fee is set per operation, according to the complexity, the transport mode and the scope hired. The proposal comes with the quote and shows our advisory fee separately from third-party costs (freight, insurance, storage, taxes).
